00 pm Position Overview The Trim Technician is responsible for all duties related to the harvest, trim and curing/drying of the cannabis plants in our facilities.
Duties performed include hand trimming, maintaining harvesting equipment, harvesting plants, handling post-harvest plants, and processing cannabis waste.
The Trim Technician reports directly to the Post-Harvest Manager and Trim Manager.
Essential Job Functions ? Must be able to take and follow directions.
? Make be able to work with a team as well as be independently motivated.
? Be able to manicure a minimum of 1 pound in a 10-hour shift consistently, by the end of the first 90 days.
? Ensure that work areas are clean and always maintained to the standards of the company as well as CCC requirements.
? Ensure that end products conform to quality and quantity standards of the company.
? Must be accountable and reliable.
? Perform other related duties as directed by the Harvest and/or Trim Manager Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
Ability to bend at the waist, kneel, crouch to access equipment.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
Close visual acuity needed for viewing screens and fine print.
Requirements ? Must be 21 years old.
? Good verbal and written skills ? High school diploma or GED ? Basic computer operating skills ? Basic math skills ? Must comply with the MA.
CCC hiring requirements.
Preferred Skills/Abilities ? Prior experience working within the medical cannabis industry.
? Prior experience working with plants, trees, or in an agricultural environment.
