Product Support Technician III - (T3)

Has developed proficiency in a wide variety of Varian Implant equipment for HC, MC and HE platforms. Completes a variety of atypical assignments, as needed. Completes work with a limited degree of supervision. This individual will work closely with product support, engineering and local service organizations in order to build and maintain best in class customer satisfaction and system performance. In addition to all of the responsibilities, the appropriate candidate must be flexible enough to support extended onsite support for as long as 4 weeks globally.
Key Responsibilities
1. Must be able to work off shift hours and weekends when required
2. Travel to customer sites on short notice for Machine down, upgrades and retrofits
3. Support New product Development within engineering and in the field
4. Assist in the development of field service bulletins
5. Support technical escalations conference calls
6. Travel 25-50%

+ Has developed proficiency in a range of analytical processes or procedures to carry out assigned tasks for hardware, software with capabilities to perform in depth archive analysis developing actions that lead to improve tool performance

+ AS Electromechanical Technology or equivalent military experience.
+ 2-5 Years Ion Implant hands on system troubleshooting.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
