Category Insights Manager

Position Summary: Responsible for providing expert level insights and analysis for the Gorton's brand, the seafood category and the retailer environment. Utilizing a deep understanding of product assortment, price, placement and promotion; develop, communicate and drive insights that lead to action across retail customers.  Provide analysis and share expert level insights covering retail, category, brand and consumer trends both internally and externally Build and maintain long term relationships with key customers reinforcing Gorton's position as the thought leader for the seafood category Conduct high level scanner and panel analyses to supportretailer strategy recommendations including Winning Retailer Analyses, Best in Class Assortment/Distribution, Category Overviews, and Competitive Tracking/Analysis Incorporate insights from existing consumer research to further develop brand and category recommendations Develop and execute retail-focused custom research projects (Path to Purchase, Decision Tree, etc.) Be inquisitive and resourceful.  Stay up-to-date with the latest retail focused research methodologies reviewing  new research suppliers and capabilities   Required Qualifications: Minimum 4 years of consumer packaged goods work experience, including at least 2 years in Category Management Bachelor's Degree level education or higher Strong knowledge of syndicated and panel data (IRI, Nielsen, etc.)  as well as familiarity with pricing, promotion and assortment optimization analysis Strong intellectual curiosity, analytic skills and demonstrated ability to translate insights into actionable business recommendations Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate insights to internal and external (Retailer) audiences Familiarity with the Category Management process, experience with JDA Space Planning or Pro Space a plus Software knowledge and experienceworking withretailer specific POS data systems (84.51, EYC, etc.) a plus Effective in cross-functional team collaboration, self-motivated Exceptional organizational/project management skills, strong attention to detail Appreciation of and interest in being in front of customers presenting insights and category growth recommendations (travelrequired, approximately 20%)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
